Using a Smartphone to Capture Images at Events

Most of the smartphones out there now have decent Megapixel quality, though they are not advised for professional photography because the lens size will always be compromised due to the small dimensions of the phone and overall design.

Though that being said a smartphone with a high Megapixel quality should be adequate enough to take some fairly decent shots at events when you are with family and friends. It’s all about creating a moment, and a smart phone is usually always to hand these day’s and those special moments can easily be captured quickly without dragging around extra equipment to events for a few sneaky shots.

If you have the right software on your phone via an app, you should be able to tweak some of the photos or add some kind of an effect to them.

There are even some mobile printers that can print Polaroid photos after an image has been sent to them wirelessly or via Bluetooth, so you can have your favourite photos instantly printed out.
